Mike Purpura - Vice President
In 2004, IFS was fortunate to welcome Mike Purpura to its team. Mike brought a wealth of construction experience to IFS and has built our successful construction department. Mike's experience has been in both commercial and residential areas. He has completed multi-disciplined projects for institutional and commercial customers across the state and North East. At IFS, Mike is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction on all projects. Management of projects includes directing, organizing, and coordinating all staff, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, soliciting and procurement of all materials and equipment to complete the project.
In 2006, Mike passed the rigorous North Carolina General Contractor licensing exam. He also holds licenses for Connecticut and Rhode Island for general contracting. Most recently he passed the Virginia state licensing exam.
Before joining IFS, Mike was employed by Christa Construction Company as a Sr. Project Manager for eight years. Mike managed many large projects from ground up to completion. He was responsible for insuring projects were completed effectively and efficiently. Complete Management of the project and ensuring customer satisfaction were key.
Prior to Christa Construction employment, Mike ran his own construction business focusing on high end homes in the Greater Rochester Area.
Tony Rivera - Project Manager
Tony Rivera brings over 25 years of construction experience to IFS. His experience spans a multitude of commercial and retail buildouts, renovations and expansions. He is also experienced in custom cabinetry and was project manager for institutional installations.
At IFS, Tony has been Project Manager for a variety of projects from small interior renovations to complete buildouts. Managing a project effectively and efficiently to be sure the job is completed on time and within budget is his priority.
Prior to joining IFS, Tony worked for Storecrafters and Wood Specialties on a range of projects.
